Installation Instructions
ClassiCarvings: A rich deeply embossed, 3 ply wood (3/8" thick) applique suitable for all interior projects; fireplaces, cabinets, furniture, etc. Paint or Stain.
ClassiCastings: Cast in polyester resin, these pieces have exceptional detail and may be used for interior or exterior. They are slightly more dense than wood and may be handled using common woodworking tools. Paint or Stain.
IMPORTANT: Always clean/wipe with paint thinner, mineral spirits or acetone, to remove hand oils and other residue prior to applying finishes. No replacements will be made if this step is omitted.
Carvings can be trimmed at natural break points using a coping saw or scroll saw, and should be installed using wood glue. (PL Premium Wood Glue) and brad or pin nails.
Castings may be installed using standard mechanical fasteners (nails, screws, etc.) nail gun and adhesive (PL Premium). When using Castings outside we recommend caulking around the piece to prevent moisture from reaching the backside and causing mildew / mold, etc.
